I wanted to replace my well head cap with one of the new water-tight (read: bug proof) sealed caps, so I called a couple of service companies. G & Haines quoted me a price that was over 3 times the amount Charles did it for!! He did a fantastic job and did it very quickly too! He was friendly and considerate. I have him on my speed dial now in case we ever have any well problems!

Absolutely one of the best businesses I have encountered. Our well pump died and left us without water. It was late in the day, but Northeast Well Pump Service came out anyway and even adjusted their schedule for us. I had called two other services before and was told it would be at least a week if not two to come out. Northeast Well Pump Service promised a fix the next morning and they arrived right on time. The issue was explained to me, and they had the whole system up and running in just a few hours. I highly recommend this company. The service is great, and the pricing is very fair.

I used Northeast Well Pump Service this summer and intended to write a review and forgot. I’m prompted to write today since I gave a good friend his number after her regular, well-known local well guy failed to answer after 4 hours. While it was a weekend, anyone living in an area serviced by a water well knows how irritatingly inconvenient it is to be without water for more than 15 minutes.

I had a similar experience this summer when we woke to no water, and I called the local company I have used in the past. He failed to answer within a few hours, so I googled well service in Glastonbury and made calls to two other local companies. Within 10 minutes, Mr. Ripley, the owner of Northeast Well Pump Service, called back and said he could come out within an hour.

Believe it or not, he arrived within the promised time and thankfully diagnosed the issue as a simple blown switch which was replaced in record time. While there, he mentioned I should think about having the well cap replaced since it was loose and not secure, allowing stuff to enter the pipe. He quoted me what sounded like a reasonable price, and since he came so promptly even though we were not a long-time customer, I decided to give him the okay to do the work then if he had time. In no time at all, I had a shiny, secure new blue well cap!

Mr. Ripley, “Charles,” owns this Glastonbury business and has operated it for 30 years. Being a homeowner here for 25 years, I was surprised to learn this since there seems to be two other companies in town that everyone uses and I had never heard of it. I am happy to recommend this company, and I will call Northeast Well Pump Service first if I ever have a well issue because of the way he handled my summer well issue and his prompt response to my friend this weekend. YES, he came within an hour for a weekend call.

Our water well pump went this past Sunday. I found these great reviews and gave Northeast Well Pump Service a call. He arrived ahead of schedule on Monday morning. He finished up in about 3 hours, which included a new pump, motor, and gauge. He was very nice and informative. We were very pleased with him and his work – would highly recommend.

We love Mr. Ripley! He serves Colchester and towns near and around Glastonbury. He is quick, efficient, and he does excellent work. We had a bad experience with a major company. They left us without water for a week and quoted us a price over 3000 dollars. In desperation, we called Charles, and he came out the very next morning on a Sunday! (He didn't charge us extra for the weekend or because it was an emergency call!) He arrived exactly on time and started working. He pulled the pump, replaced the old pump with a new one, and was finished.

Within two hours! The other company told us that it was a two-man job and they had to charge 500 dollars just to pull the pump. They would have to charge at least another 2500 to replace it. Charles did the whole job by himself from start to finish for 1800.

We highly recommend him to anyone who needs well service. He is honest, hardworking, and he does not rip you off.
